Week 7: Cons of Interning

Zira Davine

If there is one thing I cannot stress enough it is that you will likely never get every file you need. Always expect the worst and you'll always be shocked to see how much you get. This week's woes: feathers, and lots of them. As I mentioned last week some of the textures were not lined up properly. Fortunately I have fixed that and been able to get the feather polygons double-sided. Up next is relocating where the feathers will actually need to be textured. I am hopping between Photoshop, Substance Painter, and Sketchfab to view my progress. Sketchfab allows me to see things transparently when SP has rendering issues from time to time. But rest assured between regular classwork and spring break I'll be able to get some fur colors done and war paints finalized. Here's to Spring Break!
