Week 11: Paperwork

This week consisted mostly of paperwork and I have been tasked with creating a new non-disclosure agreement for our art team. There was already a basic agreement but it needed updating. Additional conditions, ownership, and promotional data were important topics in the NDA to go over. Without this, employees are taken on an act of good faith that they will remain uphold the ideals and values of a studio. Legally binding agreements are easy ways to safeguard both the employee and employers if there are ever issues.

I was also asked to address a letter to another studio. Since Forbidden love is a non-profit group making assets off of a pre-existing plethora of resources (though most are made from scratch), we are permitted for both educational and promotional purposes to showcase and release our work so long as:

- Not for profit

- All members are credited accordingly

- Any and all resources used are cited and credited

- All work pertaining to the project is archived and documented

These weekly updates are just one form of documentation on my own progress, and so on. While it is not directly outlined in my internship contract it is for academic credit.

On another note:

-Elk Warpaints are due by the end of the semester. I have finally figured out the secret of feathers and look now towards a refresher in topology, material mapping and IDs.

-Bow files for mass distribution are in the re-UV stage. Materials have been assigned but UV sets need to be made.
