Week 1: Welcome to the Pipeline

Updated: Feb 6, 2019

Week one; Back to school and a whole new set of responsibilities. I start off this week with the rundown: how work will run, what the plan is for the spring semester, and what kind of things I'll be expected to do. The list is short, sweet, and to the point: I will be juggling assignments as I receive them, having a weekly meeting with the art team, and collaborating with my fellow artists for work and critique.

This week I was given wiggle room to set up this website, set up my apartment, and explore my resources. I needed a website, so here we are! On a side note, designing a website is difficult! For all of the graphic designers out there I tip my hat to you. While I might possess a few years of GD experience I think I'll leave it to you all in the future.

In this week's team meeting there was little to cover of which I was already aware of: Concept Artists fast approaching deadlines, 3D modelers eagerly waiting for said concepts (self included) and so on. Our team meetings are quick, to the point, and loaded with information. For an intern, it can be a lot to keep on top of, but that's how the show goes on.
